Neon Genesis Evangelion (or just Evangelion) is the name of an anime and manga series set in 2015 where giant robots fight against beings called angels.However, the pilots of these mechs are all 13/14 year olds with mental illnesses.
Because of the popularity of this series, there are multiple games, movies, books, etc. This makes the real lore VERY confusing so don't be suprised if I say something thats then contradicted later.
